Ive just looked at Norfolkline ferry to Dunkerque £32 return but £12 fuel surcharge so £44 going out saturday evening after 1600 return tuesday 1000 so not a lot in it but saves Calais to Dunkerque run and meals reasonable quality and price on ferry compared to France anyway .Julian

Keep an eye on petrol prices - at the moment it's cheaper in the UK so last time I came over I didn't fill up here but waited until I reached J12 on the M20 and nipped off to the handy Tesco. Just made it!
I shall do the same when I come over in October.

Theres a Sainsburys at Folkstone junction with petrol and Mcds if you do use Dover but no good for Chunnel unless you double back.Julian

Been checking hotels loon plage does room with double and a single bunk

st pol sur mer does a room with 3 singles twin beds and a bunk .

Put me down as a maybe for Uglys on tour :lol: :lol:

I said wouldnt go on any abroad trips again but a weekend would be okay shouldnt cost too much .Julian
