That one is a modern PX, some people prefer the older 50s and 60s Vespas ;) Bit like someone wanting a Mk2 Jaguar and pointing them towards a new S Type..... aint the same old boy

True enough, I suppose it depends whether you want a hobby or practical transport.
I like old classic stuff, but I wouldn't spend my own money on it.

At the moment, classic stuff is better than money in the bank ;) Buy a nice scoot, look after it and run it for a year and youll make money unlike us idiots that buy new

For many years from 1990 till 1997 I ran classic cars as everyday transport, they were cheap to buy AND practical too. Its nonsense to say a classic isnt practical. I know a guy who only owns Lambrettas, no car etc and he has business all over the UK and uses his Lammies for all of it. Yes he breaks down but he can fix them. Not too long ago, he rode from down here in Hants up to Blackpool, over to Manchester, down to London and home all on business in a weekend! Oh, his scoots all have tuned engines too for motorway riding.

Personally I would rather not break down but each to their own.
