I regularly beat motorcycles away from the lights and to the next; unless they really gun it once they get off. But the point is, in a city going from light to lights, a scooter is very evenly matched to a motorcycle. The attitude however is still you're slow, and should get out the way.

Fair enough on an open road, but the attitude carries thru to where scooters (even sub 250cc ones) are optimal.

And it's not just motorcyclists, my cage-only workmates refer to scooters as "mopeds", and think you can't go more than 25mph.

Ultimately all two wheelers (even cunter-bastard cyclists) share many of the same problems and benefits in traffic - pity we can't all get along...

A good place to make new CONNECTIONS, and the people are typically down to EARTH.

The guest of honour will be Vince CABLE, with music by JOULES Holland whose crew will supply their own AMPS. There will be an on-site open air cinema showing TRANSFORMERS.

Races will take place on the SHORT-CIRCUIT and riders should familiarise themselves with the layout using the PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS.

Site entry/exit safety will be ensured via a SINGLE WAY SWITCH.

Please be aware that unlike most scooter rallies, there will be no smoking.

Crime levels are historically low, but there have been ISOLATED incidents of Assault & BATTERY. Otherwise, unless someone blows a FUSE, the local Police will remain NEUTRAL.

Please advise of food allergies, for example of CURRENTS.

Bringing your own food is advisable, as on-site catering has previously been accused of OVERCHARGING. There will be some large cooking facilities, but please pre-book in order to avoid RANGE ANXIETY.

There would have to be a huge big parking area for the vans and cars and trailers and suchlike that people would need to use to get their electric scooters to the venue...
