Pikey has good advice here
"Just a quicky for muppets on Belgium trip if they venture into France all roads with no central divide ie country roads not dual carridge way now 80 kmh not 90 kmh from 1st July .Pikey didn't tell you remember.lol"
Several other touring Facebook pages are reporting the same thing.
Road signs may state 90kph but new law is now 80kph. This drops to 70 kpm in wet conditions.

Ok uglies Salt box to Canterbury Hotel is 198 miles 3 hrs 30 give or take min or three.
Spending two hours at toddington services knocks it up too 5 hours thats with out any hold ups.
i regularly travel this route of course non stop (liar!!!) ok quick piss stop
4hrs from Derby to Faversham which about 10 to 15 miles short of C/bury,at 54-56 mph
what about breakfast or snack at salt box 45 mins max if poss down to Toddington 30-45 mins break stretch legs fags drink, onto canterbury.
And which Cafe are we going to before chunnel for me Airport cafe was better more staff to get you want cheap aswell for what you get.

i think this plan will have to go on Lyn as he got furthest to travel and where he requires food.
Salt box will be cheaper than services 10.45 wish
top up on fuel at toddy stretch fags drink crack on
1430 -1500 arrival at Canterbury

Is that a 10.45 depart from Salt Box?

It's more or less on the way anyway. Check for any traffic delays near Euro Tunnel before we leave Travelodge 7.45 ish? 30 mins to the cafe,, hour or so stop,,, then allow 30 mins to Euro tunnel. We should be there half hour before check in closes, (if we filter/ push in as usual). Is everyone booked on the same train? I'm on the 10.50.
Double check Steve

We used the Airport Café, great grub and only 10 mins from the tunnel.
Re Dartford Crossing the Bridge is usually OK, its going through the tunnels that tends to back up more.
