Their credibility would be helped by having SYMs at shows, big stand not required. They could always just put up a Bennetts/dealer stand and have a couple of SYMs in with them. Or simply a small stand.
I ordered my Piaggio X10 from a dealer at a show who had one in midnight blue on their stand. There are many ways to market stuff, saying "I need a huge stand that I can't therefore afford" is not one of them.
Even if they had a big Honda sized stand + free gourmet restaurant not many bikers are going to spend a long time in a stand full of scooters, a big stand is not needed for so many reasons. Scooters are always an 'aside' in the UK and the stands and economics should reflect that.
Who on here would think less of SYM if they had a small stand rather than a large one?

Easier still to buy a Silverwing at £6200 and save some dosh with the better fuel economy.

Watch the online spell checker doesn't get you!

But if you want a SYM Maxsym why not just buy one! Why must it be a Honda?

Phew, thanks for the heads up, I think I'm ok now...
It absolutely doesn't have to be a Honda.
When I come to change the Forza the next scooter will have to be capable of similar fuel economy, have similar service intervals, ABS, mph speedo and a dealer in Aberdeen or just maybe Dundee at a stretch.
I look forward to a Sym which meets these criteria.

SYM have previously been at the NEC when Moorelarge were the importer. I remember meeting Neil there when they first exhibited the MaxySym a few years back.
