Home around 3.30pm, only two more torrential downpours on the M25 around Harlow & Waltham Cross, but I guess I'd got used to them and was pretty much soaked through by then!

Dave & Dave apologies for any waywardness on the A12 (S) my speedo was playing up from when we left the petrol stop, recording 35-40 top speed but I'm pretty sure it was 55mph and nigh-on flat out for the old girl.

After a refreshing shower I've tracked it down to the new speedo cable I fitted a couple of months back, just to ensure I can formally claim to be a Muppet I'd clearly not tightened the new cable sufficiently at the back of the dash, as it had come loose. All now re-attached and working as it should, made sure to nip it with some molegrips so hopefully no recurrence.

Thanks to the Walton Four, plus Terry & Nada in the back-up support vehicle, for a satisfying but slightly challenging rideout, it's all character building I guess but pretty please can we have nicer weather next time!!

Suns here now. Finally.

I think we had the low pressure centred right upon us.

What a great team building event and wet ride training, I enjoy riding in the rain in summer, had a job lining up the road edges and kerbs as there were a few puddles about.
I decided to get a move on down the A12 on the way back Martyn, so I could get back in time to see some of the tennis final.
The food really tasted good this time, we must do it again
Good to meet Silverbonce on his very nice X9 250evo for the first time, enjoy Doddy.

Never took any scooter in that deep water. Let silverbonce with his Wellies test the depth.
