Nice route this weather, regularly took the back road when I lived in East Mersea, and great if you swing around the edge of Abberton reservoir or cut across from Tiptree and the Marneys etc

Yep, I'm familiar with Abberton, Tiptree, the Marneys and Mersea - great places to ride around I agree.
Trouble is I have to come back into Shoebury near Southend so the last bit can be a pain - there is a back way however...

Just been down to the quayside at Maldon this evening watching the barges. Very nice indeed. It's within walking distance for me too so had a lovely glass of wine

Sounds perfect!
Could have some potential as a meeting up place one evening eh? I think a few people on here are within an hours ride or so of the quay.

Checked the Integra over ready for the off tomorrow, will be meeting Jaz at Ashford TL late evening. train to Euroland Saturday morning..

I've given the Fusion the once over & rigged up a radio so I can listen to the Wales v Belgium qualifier on the way down

Fitted new power connector plug for the cooling fan and re-fitted the radiator ready for the fill up and test tonight

Filled cooling system with water and run up using infrared temperature gun, although didn't seem to take long the fan eventually cut in

so that now works. Drained now deciding whether to go straight to the expensive coolant or run on water for a bit. New shocks to fit today.
