After doing an oil change and thimble filter clean at 1850 mile on the 1st March, today at 2680 mile I serviced my S3 Advance 250 for spark plug and air filter. No need for replacements as they were both very clean and the gap good.

Well yesterday actually, took the maxsym to Scotland with a 336 miles run around Kielder, weather was damp so gave the new michelin tyres chance to scrub in . The 400 is now nicely loosend up with 24 thousand trouble free miles on the clock and returning 78 mpg. Well pleased

Then took the long way home on the backroads via Maldon (which is not really on the way home at all but it was a nice day). Had some chips down by the river looking at the old Thames Barges and then another gentle ride home.
Very nice it was too...

I'm betting that had I taken the scooter to work that day you would have parked right next to me: outside Argos? Next time you're there, if you see a J300SE pm me and I'll see if I can join you for a coffee if you like.

Hi Stephen. No I wasn't parked outside Argos - I used the one by the toilets in Market Road. I'll check out the Argos one.
Next time I'm up that way I'll definitely see if you're bike is there and give you a pm.
Cheers

In a convoluted parking accident (I failed to put my Honda 50 on its stand correctly & it fell over, taking the Xevo with it

) I managed to knacker up the Xevo's 'good' side a couple of weeks ago. So, in light of its stellar service so far I thought it deserved a bit of a makeover. £45 bought this lot:
and a day off spent filling, rubbing down, spraying and so on produced this:

Ah, I'll just rub a bit of Mer on that front hugger, and the grime on the fork legs stops them rusting
