Removed rear wheel and had a puncture repaired by Watling tyres. Easy job removing wheel on Burgman 650, Even put some grease on the draw bolt, caliper threads and drive flange spindle, they use very little grease in the factories these days.

A method I've used in the past is to place the wheel under a car then use a jack to press the bead off.

Well i went for a ride over to Essex this morning, up the A2 which has 4 lanes each way and then onto the M25 through the Dartford Tunnel and tolls, which are free on 2 wheels.
Have to say the Matrix behaved very well, easily sitting at around 50-55mph. Filled it up with a whole £6.23. and managed to get 92mpg out of the second tank, which is getting alot better.

Picked up my Burger from the shop yesterday after state inspection. Needed new tires - the Bridgestone on the rear was pretty well squared up but I thought the front was OK. Anyway, they let me order online and I got a good price on a pair of Michelin City Grips - less than 75 GBP delivered. Paid my money, turned out of the drive, and nearly fell over. The new rubber was sooo responsive when I leaned. If the Michelins last for a good while, I'll be really impressed.

Rode to and from the office, managed to scrape the road with floor stand leaning it too far right on the Ewell (Esso) roundabout.

The damn engine warning light come back on for about 10 minutes (again) on the way home and the alarm stopped working a week ago.

Going in for it's second service tomorrow so will want all this stuff sorted out. Exhaust oxygen sensor replaced last time the engine warning light was coming on.

Rode the Burgman 650 for the first time since buying a 125 Swing, 1500 miles ago, came back with the well known Burger grin, what a great bike, much better than I remembered it. Fast through twisties, good overtaking using the power button, good down the motorway using overdrive, great electric screen. I'm sure the newer scoots cannot beat it as an overall pagkage.
