Checked my belt as it slipped when I went full throttle. Belt still looks new "Funky I checked the belt width and it was 31.5mm" but there was some dust on the variator

Put tyre on spare rim for Vespa ready to fit .Brought Aldi compressor yesterday and accessories kit so much easier to pop tyre back on bead with tank of air to blast in wish had brought one years ago .

Steven thers a tmax variator/clutch holding tool on ebay if you have not got one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151821561781? ... EBIDX%3AIT id get that variator off and a good clean with brake cleaner spray this guys a good old queezer doing it at 16000 miles

If you accelerate hard it can cause the clutch to slip or the belt if the engine is at running temps, try and avoid it
Michel is right you need to clean out the casing, making sure the pulley halves are clean and oil/grease free when putting them back in so avoid touching the insides when putting it back together.
The belt as I have said before may look perfect but has a low tolerance, you still have 1mm to go but I would change it at 31mm as the drop off in performance is noticeable by then.
