Put in some led side lights from Halfrauds to match the new led headlight.

Saves about 40 watts total so should have a happy battery when all the heated clobber starts getting used.

i love the LED light system on the pcx the total is around 5 watts to run them all and the headlight is what i would term as life saving, you might think that is a strong thing to say, yet i think all new scoots and bikes should have them nowadays, its amazing when riding in day or night how many cars defo see you where they may have not :)
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

24000 mile oil and filter change and yet another set of rear pads with yet another new connector gasket in the exhaust.

Yep warranty has expired now.
Couldn't find my syringe, so will need to search the shed.
Valve check interval on the Forza 300 is 16000 miles, the PCX is 2500

Yes, that 2,500 interval for the valves on a PCX is a pain. I've always left mine considerably longer than that and they've been in spec. It wouldn't be such a problem if you didn't have to do so much dismantling to get to them.

well at least they are valves, never done shims and i suppose you would have to have the different sizes u need to do them, (could be wrong as not needed to research shim type) you can hear close up if the tappets are too far out, i will check at 2500 mls yet i cant see them needing to be done till 5000 miles at least, like the manual says, inspect... i suppose the garage would do a sound check and not a visual   so on that basis, use your own judgement
ive only done 615 miles so far   so prob might not have the scoot when it gets to 5000 miles, as thats 4 years ish away
not had a good ganders underneath the engine to inspect whether the access, on a bench could not be made bigger to get the valve cover off, and do it that way, even if neat cutting the under belly pan, then rebolt that piece could be a way :D

Mmm shim under bucket
measuring is one thing, doing anything about it is another...
The Xmax 400 is shim under bucket - due at 24,000 miles...
Had an FZR1000 Exup Cylinder head - Genesis - 5 valves per cylinder... was never brave enough...
screw n locknut is enough of a faff for me...
