Re: What have you done to your Scooter today?
Back in February I ordered a set of Michelin's for my baby Nexus, they arrived last week, how's that for prompt delivery
But, just in time, my front was quite worn, would be my first front I've worn the sides out before the middle!!!
well, hadn't fitted it thru the week and as it's been around 3 to -2C when i get home from work, (getting close to winter here
) I left the wheel off till now...
Today the sun popped through the fog and I decided to clean the dusty calipers, check their movement and refit the fresh new tyre..went to fill some fresh fuel and stopped in town for a chat, today was bike day, although only 6C at 9am there was a virtual endless stream of bike groups pouring past my house (I'm in a great spot!). although only 12c when i dressed and took a short around the block to see how the michelin/pirelli combination works..205km later and I was quite happy, the rear does slip out a bit, my average speed was 108kmh, says something for my legal care factor
Got home, a little chilly, threw another log on the fire and closed the lounge room off so I'd put the bike away and come into a nice warm room... holey sh*t, got back in and it was 28C
so opened the doors again, sweating like a pig....
anyway, glorious sunny day, beautiful Nexus, fantastic countryside and I didn't take one pic
