Changed my mind on the wrap... going to go with Matt Black and Gloss Red & White because...
1. The iridescent is a bit too girlie
2. It'll be about £130 cheaper
The wheels will stay Red as I have now fixed the damaged dip with a paint safe thinner. They still need a refresh of a couple of coats of red over the top which will then be metalised with copper and silver then glossified.

just fitted the Puig taller screen to the big Burg. Man that's big, about 15 cm taller with a vent thing in the middle. Will try it out tomorrow

Fitted "Mr T" with my soft panniers and tail pack for a camping trip tomorrow. Not sure where we'll go but probably West Dorset/East Devon for a few days, to make the most of the weather.

Just purchased
6m of Matt Black
2m of Gloss Dragon Red
2m of Gloss Pure White
Slightly over kill but I have a few other things I want to wrap.
Also purchased a few other bits and pieces to aid in wrapping.

Had the blue Silverwing fairly deep-cleaned by the grandson of a friend of mine who is raising money to go on a Rugby Trip to South Africa next year.
He's done a very good job.
When I've taken off the driving lights and put the Honda topbox back on it'll be on the market.

???? In favour of what Mike, I've just commented to roadrunner this evening that I looked at silver wings again (now discontinued) after the ride out and it only missed out last time as the burgman,400 had more storage.
Contacted Padgett's (still waiting to hear back)

I already have a newer Silverwing; I decided earlier in the year to buy a new one, working on the principals that it will probably be my last and the supply would eventually run out. If I left it too long to get one I'd be too late.
However, a pal of mine bought brand new three years ago but circumstances dictated he'd more or less given up riding.
His Silverwing was sitting in his garage, gathering dust, and with a mere 2200 miles on the clock.
We did a deal which suited us both so I ended up with two bikes. The only downside is that instead of p/x-ing the old one I'm having to sell it privately.
It has minor damage at the front where I dropped it in the ford, needs a new front tyre and pads - Advisories at its last MOT and hasn't been ridden since.
To the 'right' person it will not cost too much!
There you have it.

Going the long long way from work to Southampton Bike Night - Running in the Burg so every mile I can get is needed.
