Sat on the TMax with a ruler and the backrest removed. Cut up some pieces of cardboard to act as a template for a bracket to move the standard backrest forward and up a few inches, so it can actually provide some support for my back in my normal riding position. I've got some pieces of stainless which I think will make quite a nice bracket.
When accelerating on the TMax it would be nice to have the backrest actually supporting my back so I don't have to hang on to the handlebars quite so much.

Not mine but scooter.
Baotain BT50QT-11 50cc THING,
Lad dropped it off with no drive, belt snapped and rollers worn through the plastic
and half way through the brass sleeve

It is his girl friends scoot she uses
to get to work on,,Parts. Belt 8notes rollers 6 and £6 postage

this THING is crap:
if i hold the front brake on and push on the handle bars, the whole front of the bike
frame moves forward

the frame is bending..
Good job she is little and only goes a mile or so each way..

Found that plastidippinging over plastidip is really not preferable... after much pain, fixing and smoothing, I left the wheels with a perfect finish yesterday having sprayed the coat of silver metalizer and had planned to do the final gloss today. The plastidip had lifted in a couple of places... my instinct was to strip it and start from scratch this time... but some brain cells fired up and said nope you could just live with it and just spray the gloss, its really not so bad... so thats what I did, if its lifted more tomorrow I'll then decide whether to strip it.
Lesson learned.. although you can spray over, don't bother and do it form scratch.

Met another 650 burg owner. That's three of us at work. Mind you this is Portsmouth Dockyard so there are a few thousand workers spread over several square miles

Well ordered front hypero progressive fork spring kit and sent details to the shock factory for a custom made rear shock and now looking to find a seat upholsterer to improve the the srv comfort as we decided to keep the srv and sell the fz8 after a back to back comparison the srv won hands down .
