So what happened here then? Have you made contact with fatcatlawyer and found out what happened to your scooter? He seems to be able to post now and is active in another thread.

Sorry no news, I can't make him the registered keeper without his consent so I have to keep taxing it as long as he keeps it insured and mot'd.
Fine by me, I'm not going to sorn it after all he has suffered.
I hope he is getting some use out of it.

i dont understand either.... one or the other is taking the piss.... really what is the world coming to if two fello riders cant communicate.... sad really... but i would find out your other options rather than taxing for another person to ride your scoot, after all someone is riding your property, and if your not that bothered about the scoot, and upset about it , then bloody sorn the vehicle as at present you are responsible for any speeding fines / parking fines etc etc
