Yes...Forza gn it's the one to go for!
I read you saga...unfortunate indeed! Definitely sounds like a design flaw. Regarding the idea of alloy welding it. That's a good one and it can work extremely well for a fraction of the cost. Whether it could be done with the engine in situ I can't say. I can gas weld but I think they mig alloy on something like that so it could work in situ. You'd need to speak to an eggspurt! It could may be reinforced too with some extra webbing.

Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Wouldn't be so bad if it was the first major problem but I've already had to replace the front forks due to corrosion and pitting.
eBay came to the rescue on that one and I got a complete pair of forks in pristine condition inc delivery for £70 which is £20 less than the cost of two new stanchions.

Blimey! What's going on with Honda these days? Once upon a time never used to get any issues with Honda.

Apparently the forks was down to me not washing it enough.
This was why Honda declined my warranty claim on those.
Funny that the chrome on the rear suspension rods is OK and they have never been cleaned.

Unimpressive isn't it...I can see us all buying Chinese bikes/Scoots for their better quality before long!Data wrote:Blimey! What's going on with Honda these days? Once upon a time never used to get any issues with Honda.
I mean Honda normally charge quite premium prices (though the PCX is relatively affordable) and you expect a premium product if you pay a premium price. If you get iffy quality, you might as well buy this from China at greatly reduced prices.
