Fitted new exhaust and removed all the excess weight of the original and its bracketry including the cat and centre stand . On test the bike runs so much cleaner ,stronger for longer . It's has improved throttle response also . The loss of the extra weight is really noticeable on the handling front ,you can really feel the differance in the operation of the rear suspension .

Globs it's an Aprilia srv850 . The weight reduction has made significant difference to the handling and the OE Shock actually feels like it's working better than it ever has .The overall performance improvements makes it feel like a new machine .oh and to top it off the mpg has gone up 10% which is nice .

Sorry I meant the new lightweight pipe lol.
I can imagine shedding 15kg makes an appreciable boost to speed, feel and handling.

Thinking of taking off the centre stand from my 650 burg. Never use it (tend to use side stand and a lump of wood when checking oil level) so that's a fare old chunk of weight I can get rid of. Also it will stop me grinding it on the ground when cornering - the sparks scare the shite out of riders following me!
