Yes it will reset the belt light interval even if the light was not on.

I can’t find the connector.
I have a black one. For the fuel pump.
And a green one. But nothing with just a link in?

Didn't realise it was a faff to reset it, the Mk3 is way easier, just bring up the belt on the odometer then reset it with a long press.

I’m on the look out for a newer one.
Was trying to buy a white mk3 on FB.
