More poor Devils with money worries. Terrible.
There's no such thing as poor performance, only inappropriate expectations

Unsold stock may go to auction.

What's the timescale they are looking at to get shut of all the stock?

i wont miss hein gericke.... i only ever went in them if i was bored or passing by accident...... i found them way overpriced... their own brand boots were rubbish... the staff in the welling branch were actually quite helpfull...but they were like kids with no real depth of biking knowledge.. proper bike shops seem to have decent gear at the right price..and also budget stuff that isnt too bad if one is in a skinto period of £... also new bikes to droool over... hg lacked something in that way

Interesting....I've read in the press that the administrators accepted an offer for Hein Gericke UK, but it seems that whoever has bought the chain isn't taking on all the shops. I've read that the Darlington store closed permanently the other day - which is sad cos when I went in there, the staff were very optimistic that they were to be taken over by the German Parent company, so their hopes have been dashed.

I heard that the Germans were only taking on the profitable stores.
