Who cares what it looks like?? The power rangers obviously! One suspects that looks (and the right sponsor names) are more important than function! The bloke probably rode 2 miles from his home to the workshop dressed like that. It was quite a hot day, so I doubt if he was very comfortable....

Cos crotch rockets have no storage, so all their waterproofs (if God forbid it rains) have to be carried about their person.
Actually the mechanic showed the underseat space of a Fireblade and said how roomy it was - you could just about get a thin waterproof jacket or a couple of sandwiches under there!!!

The original post reminds me of sitting at Creg Ny Baa waiting for the Saturday races at the TT to start about 5 minutes before they closed the roads.
Typically (and predictably according to TT regulars) the start was delayed due to a "single vehicle collision" on the mountain.
"Itll be a feckin German!" says one pipe smoking regular. "Aye on a feckin Fireblade!" says another. "thinking he's John Mc feckin Guiness!" says another.
(John McGuinness was a HM Plant Honda rider a few years ago before he switched to TT Legends if you were wondering about relevance)
20 minutes later a pickup barrels down the mountain and off towards Douglas carrying a front end battered HM Plant Fireblade with German plates!

Funny - though I would have thought we had enough useless pillock power rangers of our own, without needing to import extra German ones!

I can only imagine that their leathers don't have the currently fashionable sponsorship badges on, and are thus uncool in power-ranger land, so they wear hoodies over them to try disguise them!
There again, it is a typical British summer and they may be cold!

there's a couple of blokes around here do that! I think its a new fashion! Just looks a bit weird as you can see they have their leathers on underneath!
