Re: Is it me?
The problem isn't the firing of the gun per se', it's the safety catch!
It's generally on the left hand side, operated by the thumb, so if you hold it in your left hand, you can't switch it off to use the gun in the first place.

Re: Is it me?
Just realised as a leftie why I had so much fun in the sixties dishing out retribution to car drivers that cut me up. Even had a dangerous driving gig at the local magistrates.
I still love the big Burger, but I'm on a diet and love the little S-Wing125 to bits, that is all I need from a scooter, so the Burger goes, hello NC700s.

Re: Is it me?
Has anyone noticed how many modern cars are designed for lefties now?
Maybe when the car is in the original left-hand drive state having the "infotainment" controls and touchscreens in the middle of the car works for righties. But when the car is converted to the correct right-hand drive, all of these new fangled controls are perfect for lefties. Thank you car designers. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

And now the Brits are talking about CARS! Can you believe it? People who put the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car and drive their cars on the wrong side of the road think that they know something about cars! Unbelievable...

Re: Is it me?
Is this the time to point out that the only reason that some countries drive on the wrong side is because that nasty French tyrant Bonneparte wanted to make a name for himself, so he insisted on all conquered countries swapping sides.
Up to then the Roman's decided to drive on the left becasue the whip hand was on the right and they didn't want to accidentally hit pedestrians on the side of the road.
So poooeeeeyyyy colonials.....We is right and you are just a bunch of indirect French men...
(Unless of course, I just made all that up!)
