I used to love Alpine Starts but i found the quality wasnot as good as they used to be. I always now go for HG as the quality is there and they don't cost you a fortune.

Skee-Tex thermal boots are toasty warm and waterproof but not very stylish or crash proof.

Got a pair of Lidl's specials a few years back for £9.99. Reduced from £19.99 I think.
Really nice & comfy. Not too bad on a Maxi but leaked like a seive on a bike.
Now have a pair of RST for £29.99, a special offer from M&P if I remember correctly.
Again nice & comfy, & waterproof for up to an hour or more in heavy rain on a bike.

im not going to wear steel toe cap boots on a scooter or a bike for that matter, might as well buy a armoured car
all the kids round hr have designer gear on shorts tee shirt and trainers, and some lads on big bikes too,on way to donnington race track,
