Weather forecast looks good for Sunday, I look forward to meeting at the already planed “The Portly Ford Lodge NN6 6JFâ€ÂÂ, why change the plan, I am sure a lot of work has gone into it so far?

Saves at least 50 miles each way from stoke or wakefield and its a nicer run and nicer place to meet thats all bearing in mind 125 riders and you may get more go to Matlock me included even tho its actually further for me but a nicer run .Up to you just a suggestion

Hasn’t Matlock been done to death.
It’s not like it used to be, pay to park and all that?

Hi Pikeys right theres no point in travelling miles just to meet southwards if no one is coming up. So lets have a look at somewhere more central for those actually interested. Matlocks OK but it has been visited quite a bit recently. Any way watch this space for an up date. We will be be meeting up somewhere.

Fully prepared to change this but what about - Wakefield comes to meet Bawtry, Bawtry then owards to Ollerton, (Nice Cafe set back near roundabout), Meet up there with Clive and Rod. Swing accross towards Belper area - picked at random really but I kow theres a Mc Ds at the end of the main street for meeting Pikey and Zoom Zoom.
After that we can pick a route so we all get a circle-ish ride. We were going to go a lot further so it should satisfy everybody with some good twisty stuff and good stops.

Sorry guys, but a 420 mile round trip was a bit too far for this southerner.
