1 week to go....anyone poping along for a little seaside ride and a hot coffee on me ?

What day and time is this planned for?

Wednesday sometime around 6-6.30pm at McDonalds near the airport.
Solo will be coming A59 Skipton through Preston so you could hook up midway with him if you could co-ordinate times.

As Dave says i am going via Skipton to Preston.

I have a job interview at 12:00 then i am setting off from Leeds at 1pm, and hope to arrive in Blackpool for 3:30pm my time in blackpool from 3:30 - 6:00 will be explore Blackpool for some good photos and having a play in some Arcades get ride of some of the unwanted 1ps ands 2ps lol.

Then heading to Mac-Ds to meet dave, meeting him at 6:30 but i am going there for 6:00 as want a coffe and read paper and relax for abit.

Sorry Solo, the day dawned sunny and bright ,if a little windy, i set off for a ride to Raven Cafe, near Whitchurch, but i got lost. Had a great day riding around Shropshire and Cheshire. Just got back in, so no more riding today. Maybe on your next run, if your around my neck of the woods.

It was actually dry, warm and windless even on the promenade.
We cruised down in relatively light traffic stopping a few times over the tramlines for Solo to do some photography, and when we got to Bispham headed home.
Solo wanted to ride back to Squires Gate and do some more photography then retrace his route back to Preston from there.
It did rain a bit at about 11pm so I hope he got at least part way home by then.
Unfortunately the Tower seemed to have fallen back onto it's old bulb illumination just at the top rather than the full height shimmering LED display it has had so far this year. Some other promenade lighting was out too.

I hope he got home OK as it's odd he hasn't posted either on here or X9OC.
Haven't heard anything from him by phone either, maybe he's just working today and will post tonight.

How many managed the ride? hope it was a good turnout.
