I completely agree. There are many people that love each scooter and don't like the other one much.MrGrumpy wrote:Actually, this confirms my theory that you are either a TMax person, or a Burgman person, and each one completely fails to 'get' the other scoot! When I leapt off the Burger onto the TMax, I thought, 'Wow, this goes well' and 'this is comfortable' !!!halfabusa wrote:I felt the exact opposite. Ever since changing to a tmax, i've been hankering after the burgman... It just felt much more comfortable and more powerful too...
What an old sh*t-heap the Burgman 650 is!

Now I found the C600 more different to the Tmax than I expected....journalists have said that the C650GT is more different to the C600 than you would expect, probably down to the very different riding positions (lower seat, higher bars - not to mention the extra weight!).yellowMax wrote:
That's an interesting concept. I certainly think that the new sport Beemer feels very similar to the TMAX. I wonder if the GT version of that feels more akin to the Big Burger

Re: What an old sh*t-heap the Burgman 650 is!
As I have provisionally placed an order for a new 650 this thread concerns me greatly. As prior commitments preclude me from attending the NEC I would appreciate if anyone on this forum does attend if they would have a really good look at the 650 with particular regard to the quality aspect and subsequently let me have their views.
Thanks.
Geoff.
