Don't get me started on Peugeot's reputation in the UK. (oops, too late!)

The majority of dealers seem interested only in the moped market, the importer is just that and not related to the manufacturer, Peugeot cars do not have a good reputation in the UK and Peugeot scooters are generally associated with the Speedfight and its typical ownership. But the Satelis and Geopolis are very different from the old peds. They are modern, well designed and highly spec'd machines which - in my opinion - offer the best mix of safety and security available anywhere at any price. There are no significant reliability or part supply problems over any other scooter brand, most models use well-tried Piaggio engines and transmissions and sell by the bucketload elsewhere. But here in the UK, they seem to be very much a niche of a niche.

and breathe.... :)

If you're worried about this one, ask him for more pics and also for the reg so you can check it up. You can also check the spec via frame number on the 3X parts website - https://www.3xmotorcycles-superstore.com/

Dont want hi jack this thread but I,ve Always thought PEUGEOT cars do have a good reputation in UK considering they have the market share of french cars here
ive not heard many bad words about them,

now small speedfight 100cc scooters, always seizing up , very poor reliability
the kids like look of them so they sell

What about this this 2002 SYM joyride 200 (really 180cc)? In Sheffield? Low miles, £600 will deliver up to 50miles.
Not very powerful for it's cc, 16hp I beleive but it'll do 75mph and isn't exactly a big maxi, 155kg and has quite
good storage underseat plus curry hooks. Good reliable bikes, but often ignored due to be Taiwanese.
