I like the look of the first one but the mivv looks a bit tacky!
The Tmax mania site have done loads of tests on various exhausts but not sure how these 3 will affect performance on a nexus.

Depends on the sound as well, though. If it's too loud you'll be the permanent ugly bunch "tail end charlie"

All non-scooter specific silencers will probably be too loud to be sensible. The design for a high compression big single needs lots of pressure damping baffles plus sound absorption material otherwise it sounds like a machine gun. I've played around with a couple of bike silencers with straight through pipes and chucked them away as even if they were not too loud initially, in a built up area with lots of reflecting surrounding surfaces, it was just anti-social. More so than a loud sports bike. Plus you look daft making so much noise on a scooter!! Even a Nexus.
Unfortunately most scooter exhausts are a little too quiet but that's probably to comply with legislation and probably explains why they are nearly always huge.
If you want a little more noise from your OEM silencer drill some holes around the tailpipe. There are two skins and it just adds a little more 'purpose' to the sound.

I had a GPR for my Nexus but it ran like crap with it on. It lost a lot of bottom end power. I also had an Akrapovic on my Tmax and that ran like crap too if you took the baffle out. Maybe they needed different weights?

Hi Steven if you want better air flow to the engine to give you a bit more instant pick up + constant mix, using the original filter support on the nexus, then just change the air filter to a sprint super competition DRY POLYESTER micron mesh filter, then its just a straight change of filter, you wont need to buy another one...EVER .... i use one and the price is the best i could find, They are normally around £45 if you can find them, they are the better version than the oiled type, as you dont have to buy any spray oil and just vaccum them clean every 5000 miles or when ever...but i got mine from here for about £35 delivered http://www.motorcycle-exhausts.co.uk/Sp ... -5883.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you will never have to buy the £15 paper type which is restrictive air filters again

P.S http://www.brspecialtuning.co.uk/Sprint%20filters.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; UK racing firm that specialize in filters exhausts . levers etc etc for most scoots

Why not just change the db killer for a better/less noisey one, or, modify the one you have. It worked for mine
