Re: What 125cc
Yamaha YP125R XMax. Initially very expensive but I have found these brand new unused 13 pre reg for only £2999 in Tamworth.

My local dealer can not match these but has agreed to drop their unregistered one for £3300 plus a free service, so with delivery and also 30% cheaper servicing when you buy from them works out about the same. They have had it in for well over a year, so I'm not rushing to buy it just yet.

You can use the Honda PCX for taking a test. I used mine back in December last year. The list of allowed bikes changed mid October (or thereabouts).

I thought you could, but nice to have it confirmed.aaroncroydon wrote:You can use the Honda PCX for taking a test. I used mine back in December last year. The list of allowed bikes changed mid October (or thereabouts).

Re: What 125cc
It was classed as an A1 maximum category bike anyway. So what category did you take on the PCX?aaroncroydon wrote:You can use the Honda PCX for taking a test. I used mine back in December last year. The list of allowed bikes changed mid October (or thereabouts).
Re: What 125cc
There used to be two classes of 125cc, A1 and A2.
When this was in place if you did the test on the A1 class PCX your full licence was only valid for A1 class 125cc machines.
This no longer applies.

Re: What 125cc
Went to my local Honda dealer today and they have some new Honda Vision 110 cc available at £1599 (Normally £1800). They are to be pre-registered 13 this month to the dealership and they said they are going up to £1899 from 1st April. Not a deal breaker but If I order this Saturday (in March) then it would be registered to me as the first owner.
Has anyone owned or ridden this?
I imagine being Honda it would be bullet proof reliable and the only concern would be a top speed of about 55?
It will no doubt do the commuting job and £1000 cheaper than the PCX, or £800 if they are to still sell the PCX for £2400.

That looks like a good price to me.
You just need to be under 5 foot tall to not look silly.
