Right.................been and looked at a couple, and decided on the Runner ST200
It's plenty big enough for what I want it to do, is in absolutely immaculate condition, as it should be with only 793 miles on it, and it's still under the original manufacturer's warranty until October
Hopefully collecting tomorrow, and it's first journey will be the 94 mile ride home

Congrats.
Small point but if it's not been used much, take a tyre gauge with you and check pressures before you ride off.

below taken from owners manual st125 st 200
Characteristic
Front wheel pressure:
1.7 bar or 25psi
Rear tyre pressure:
2 bar or 29psi
Rear tyre pressure (rider and luggage)
2.2 bar or 32 psi
owners manual in pdf here to download to look at

have a safe journey, if you have an electric tyre inflator remember to check tyres when COLD your tyres will go up by 4 psi when warm so bear this in mind if you have to drive to a petrol station to check them, ensure 4 psi over standard in them if warm

I should point out this advice comes from having failed to do this when I picked up my old Burger 650 and riding 75 Motorway miles with only 20 psi in the rear!

Looks nice, remember when I picked my GP800 up I had to ride it 100 miles home, very steep learning curve as most of my previous riding was on a 50cc, apart from 2 days doing my test on a 125!

Thanks for all the very helpful advice guys
I checked out the route driving home today
Busiest part is the M60 around Manchester, when there's a bit of lane changing to be done, M67 seems fine, A616 across the Woodhead should give a good indication how the bike climbs, and the M1 has 50mph speed restrictions due to roadworks, so that should be fine, followed by the A57 to Worksop, A1 for a short stretch, then back on the A57 to Lincoln
Will also be interesting to see when the fuel light comes on
Really looking forward to it

8.5 l tank (estimated value) including the fuel reserve ~ 1.7 l

be careful
DURING THE FIRST 600 miles DO NOT RIDE THE VEHICLE OVER 80% OF ITS
MAXIMUM SPEED. AVOID TWISTING THE THROTTLE GRIP FULLY OR KEEPING
A CONSTANT SPEED ALONG LONG SECTIONS OF ROAD. AFTER THE
FIRST 600 miles, GRADUALLY INCREASE SPEED UNTIL REACHING THE MAXIMUM
PERFORMANCE. alternate the revs and speed on your journey

Picked her up yesterday, and all I can say is "Wow"
Better than all of my expectations
I was a bit worried that getting the 200cc machine might labour on the motorway, but how wrong could I be
She easily reached an indicated 70mph and felt as though there was more, but I didn't want to push it
Having not been two wheels for approximately 30 years I thought it might scare me witless going out on the open road at that speed, with something with such small wheels, but again the Gilly made it a dream ride, with the performance meaning that I wasn't hounded by car drivers clamouring to overtake etc
To sum up, I think I've made completely the right choice for what I want it for - it fits in the garage with relative ease, handles well, doesn't feel small, has plenty of poke, and looks like being economical too
Certainly ticks all the boxes, so I'm a happy little scooter noob
