Ok in from work, so how did the new plug perform.Well the first thing you notice is the deeper exhaust note. The throttle is now smooth as silk, sensitive and with no lag, power supply is seamless. Pulling out into traffic feels safer and the bike maintains a steady speed, this makes it good for around town where with hardly any throttle it sits on 30 mph whilst stop start traffic remains smooth. On the open road, twist the throttle and "Huston we have lift off". It flies within seconds the speedo reaches 120 km and continues to climb.When reducing speed from a fast run the popping sound from the exhaust as gone. It was the fastest run I have ever had to work I shall have to watch my licence. Given my fitting difficulties I like the idea of a maintenance free 40000 life span. I cant believe I have been a biker all these years and only just found these plugs. The EBay supplier was excellent, it came by return post and at £13 including postage it is a bargain and in my view a must have.

Now I am tempted, just did a quick search and I can get one of the LGS versions for £9.99 + p&p Spaceprobe, would you please update in a day or two when you have had more time to evaluate??

That's a great report spaceprobe. I'm especially interested in how the fuel economy works out too. Mind you, you'll probably be wanging it along the road from now on so you maybe won't get much benefit! Our fellow muppet Halfabusa also fitted one of these on our diy day. He is also going to report back on that at some point. It all looks quite positive so far though it seems. Maybe I'll go that way myself.

well so far so pleased with the way the bike feels I wont care if the MPG goes up. Its a nice day today and I have a day off so may head over to Box Hill to give it a longer run, chance to call into Get Geared. I was well impressed by that E Bay seller by the way, all email were answered by return, ordered it lunch time on Monday and it arrived yesterday morning and he takes Pay Pal.

I was persuaded and have bought the AOR12LGS hopefully it will be fitted at the weekend.

Let me know what you think, will be surprised if you are not pleased. Time to jump in the shower can't wait to get out on the road.

glad you enjoying the brisk LGS plug.... i did try to entice the muppets some 4 months plus ago regarding the brisk plug as my brisk plug had been in 2 months by then... so glad you have tried it, i did put my iridium back in for a day but took it back out same day.. not as smooth and i did say then that the brisk plug i took out had no deposits on it at all, so burning all the injected fuel spaceprobe you will enjoy, and if you get yourself a performance replacement air filter the scoot will breathe and gulp air easier so you dont get any mpg loss, in fact will increase your mpg be careful out there

Well pleased so far just about to walk out the door to take it for a long run. Have been unable to find a replacement filter:-(

bmc have now got one, around £50 will have a look for a non oiled version as they work out cheaper in long run, but they both last a lifetime and dont need changing... i will email brian at br tuning to see if available
