Don't let the insurance company get away with that one, take advice.

Yep, they're all too quick to auto-renew so that you aren't left without insurance. When it suits 'em! I always opt it of auto-renew anyway. Did you?

I've never auto renewed because I saved nearly £100 last year by shopping around when it was due.

Update: My mates lad thinks he's found the bike 200 yards away across some feilds burnt out, so it looks like I've got an 850cc pile of melted plastic and metal.

I've been through the same thing recently and this is a painful reminder. I really hope it ends well for you and I echo the comments about the scum who's only pride in life is their ability to wreck other people's lives, safe in the knowledge they're unlikely to be brought to any sort of justice. The little bastard that nicked mine has passed me in the street and gives me a knowing smirk. As I don't want to risk inviting further retribution on my family, there's little I can do. I did manage to get lucky and drench him with my car during some torrential rain, but it was scant consolation.

I have friends from my doorman days who live and work in the local area to where it was taken from, so lets just say............... ;)

Right a 'Special constable' found what my mates lad thinks is my bike, how long before they let me know they might have found it? I've heard nothing off the police???
