I guess in a way anything secondhand is some sort of gamble, but you're backing an outsider.

Hello, another thing to think of is do you want any fun on it, or is it just to plod to work and back?

to be honest it'll just be a hack, it will not see cleaning in my ownership, it will see maintenance and be kept in useable condition, but it wont be a prized possession, I will probably be it last owner, whatever maxi scoot I buy.
I am more and more inclined towards the x9 and burger, that aprilia has had 6 owners and the bloke is very sketchy about details when I ask for them, he has just replied to my ebay messages.
I 'should' be buying a bike either next week or the week after so I'd better pull my finger out
