Just called into Aldi and picked up a pair of kevlar jeans £29.99 including knee protectors. Good range of sizes and quality seems OK. Bargain and no excuse not to wear protection now.

I think the jeans are OK for the money.
Always keep the aramid out of daylight, even to dry them. Just hours of sun will weaken it, a month will destroy it.
Aldis' aren't going to stand up to the punishment of Hood jeans.
The aramid is loose knitted and kept in place by the denim, Hood are woven (much denser), proper Twaron and form a complete pair of trousers inside the jeans.
But they are a quarter of the price or less

They seem to be some of the better cheaper ones but Dragging Jeans they are not

Home now and I can report that the jeans seem very well made and fit me well. The knee protectors are in pockets (on the Draggin Jeans they just Velcro to the Kevlar). They also have hip pockets for optional protection (Draggin Jeans do not). Do wash them before wearing them a huge amount of blue dye as come out of mine.

Quick update, I wore the Lidl gloves once and never again, just no good at all so £17 down the swannee.
But I eventually dragged my arse into J&S and they still had the HG ones I like in stock so I bought a pair.
Happy days.

There's a saying - "Buy cheap, buy twice" - that is often confirmed through any Aldi or Lidl thread. You simply can't get quality on the cheap. That's why we're not all riding around on Chinese scooters.

If there was a 300 cc Chinese scooter with comparable spec to a Forza.......
Only a matter of time.
If I was a city dweller and wanted a 125 I would be having a Lexmoto Vienna.
