whilst i will bow to your vast experience after your test ride  .. after all i only owned it for just under a year and clocked up 9,000 miles on it including three trips to the murcia region of spain ... thats how i can say its under powered for long motorway use ... even one up riding at those speeds,,, two up it comes up woefully short .. its the best built scooter out there imho at the moment but for town use and the odd motorway blast not prolonged high speed ..
and it might be best if you kept your shitty little comments such as diplomatic plates and aero planes until you have had more than a ten minute ride and drawn up your own conclusions and not the ones mr google has told you
I wish Piaggio would do something useful with that great big 850 motor and chuck it in an X10 style touring style package. Without any chain obviously.

I'd consider another Piaggio group scoot but the 300cc wouldn't be quick enough and the 500 cc isn't enough of a jump in power to interest me.

An X10 850 with integrated hard panniers would be very interesting though if it's aimed below the big Burgmans price point.

Sorry I didn't realise you thought your opinion was somehow better than mine, however it's still my opinion, shared by others, and I still disagree with you. If I want a boring prolonged motorway blast to avoid seeing anything on the way I usually go Ryanair, at over 600mph I find it quiet, comfortable and considerably cheaper.

The X10 is perfectly capable of long legal motorway trips, I know this because my lower powered 263cc SYM is, and yes I have toured france on that and spend every day, twice a day using it on the motorway. The X10 is considerably more powerful than my SYM and will therefore be quite fast enough thank-you.

I'm sorry you feel bad about me pointing out that the X10 is quite fast enough, I'm not sure I can help you with that.

No worries - it's just Jamie enjoying my 'shitty little comments' when I question the need to break the speed limit on a regular basis, and not understanding my hour long test ride included rather a lot of miles of motorway :)

It's just X10 envy - nothing to see here ;)

penis jousting ??? how old are you ?????
globs has his opinion i have mine we each put what we thought he based his on his test ride i based mine on owning one .. we clearly have different needs from a scooter .. threads go off topic all the time and the problem with that is ???????????
or can you only post if you follow the party line

Well its a post of my test of the integra, nothing to do with an x10, if ya wanna talk x10, make an x10 thread, don't see why specific bike areas cant be made like the burgman forum etc, that way I can, if I want opinions on other bikes, there can be a general page, any debates etc can go in the bike specific pages, I don't want to go through pages of my own post to see other folks debates on there machines non specific to what I am talking about, oh and I am 42!

What if someone wants to discuss how an Integra compares with another machine in an Integra only thread, are exceptions to be permitted or should a new thread be created and a link to that new thread containing the comparison added into the Integra thread, or is an Integra only thread not to have links to any information or discussion on machines other than an Integra?

I understand the need for comparisons if it relates to the integra but i get annoyed when they escalate into arguements, i couldnt give a shite whatan x10 does or does not do, if its fine for everybody just to write any old shite wherever they like what is the point of titles on individual posts or seperate areas of chat? We may aswell all just have one big page and anyone writes what they want wether its relevent or not, why dont we talk about cookery or flower arranging also, my point is its manners to stick to the thread as best as possible and quickly get back on track if folk want to be personal then thats why we can talk to each other in pm,s or whats he point of a structured forum?
