Thanks gn2. The answer then is research. 7k for the Burg 650 is more realistic. I have to say that I do like what I read about SYM scoots but the list prices are not a lot less than the Big Four's versions, which niggles a bit.
I'm happy to read more about the Head of SYM Maffia's Maxsym 600 still; although I've yet to see one in the flesh.

For me Sym pricing is very optimistic bordering on ridiculous.
£5000+otr for a non-abs Maxsym 400 or £5500 for an abs Burgman 400.......?

Now you know what I am going to say. Why assume the old Burg is better than the Sym. Still the SYM does appeal to those with a more youthful outlook.

There's no doubt in my mind that the Sym is a good product, but imo the Suzuki is better vfm.
Buyers weigh up many factors then decide.
It seems more decide one way than the other.

Yeah it seems that SYM is in for a rough time again. Better prepair for the worst.
