Hi Alp123 or alp, If I may be so bold. That's such a good idea! We can do exactly that the next little adventure we go on.

I don't know anything about the ride there but I am getting an urge to ride to Lake Garda. Anyone been and offer some advice?

I went on my V-max in 2005 via the (in)famous Stelvio pass ... I usually stay in lovely appartments between Sirmione and Peschiera del Garda ... both towns are very handy for boat trips and Verona is close and very nice

Planning for next year Ferry to Northern Spain easier with small scoot let ferry do the work only a 150 miles run to Portsmouth for me and straight off ferry into Spanish Picos de europa or across to Pyrenees

I have done both areas ... fantastic ... and the ferry isnt too expensive with a bike/scoot ... but boy it gets expensive with a car and caravan .... last time I did that area on 2 wheels the Mrs flew bucket airline to and from Bordeaux and I got the Portsmouth - Le Havre ferry ... worked out quite well as by the time I got back she had done the washing :lol
