Don't need it right up until you do need it at which point its too late.
The first journey I made driving an ABS equipped vehicle, an artic did a u-turn right in front of me without any warning.
The driver was trying to squeeze through a gap in the central reservation.
Suffice to say I learned the advantages of ABS first hand in a few very long seconds.
I managed to brake and swerve to the left and just got round behind the back of it.
Without ABS I might well have hit it.

Fortunately in time it will become mandatory.
(because some very sensible people made the correct choice)

Justifies me spending all my spare time on bikes rather than going to the Gym! :D

Experience is something I only ever get a second after I really need it!

Actually, it isn't.

As of 2016 it's the law.

So get used to it, you are going to have it.

Except a closed door, which a mind can't open, but even a stupid hand can.

As long as you buy bikes made from 2016 that is ;) Not if you ride around a 2015 bike forever

I am not against ABS btw, i'm all for it. Just saying the choice is always going to be there as long as the pre-2016 bikes are in traffic. Just got to buy them 2nd hand thats all.
