Yes, I agree, I have come to full stops multiple times in traffic, and so long as the traffic moves a little fairly soon, you can actually stop, nudge forward, stop etc and not need to put your feet down at all.
Just feels supremely well balanced at such low speeds.

And then you get it out of town and it just feels great, get your feet up forward as far as they go, and just sit back and enjoy the ride!
I must admit, I haven't even looked or moved the heater control as I think I'd read somewhere that it required the use of an apron/skirt to notice it. Are you using it with a an apron/skirt? (sorry, that may not be the name of it, it's the thing that attaches to the scooter to keep your legs covered).

good i am glad you are enjoying it they can all stop moaning at me now and accusing me of bias. Yes i do you use an apron with it and it's lovely and cosy and snug

I should probably look into an apron or something but with my track record for forward planning... I was laughing to myself the other day when riding home in heavy rain - got that old familiar feeling from last riding scooters when the cold rain makes it's way down the slope of the seat to your extremities - and I know my waterproof trousers are tucked up safe and dry under the seat! Everytime! I come out, wipe the rain off the seat, look up and say it's not too bad, I'll not bother with the waterproofs and lo and behold, soaked to the a**e!

Roger Barratts in Bournemouth had a 600i at Castle Lane a couple of weeks back. It looked very nice.

Well Meldrew I am sure you will agree the fact that I have one makes them very special [WHITE SMILING FACE]. I think the fact that aprons came about for suit wearers does not make them good for standard bike gear. I realise I have become an old softie but just wearing Dragging jeans in winter and staying warm and dry is very pleasant and the heater cent on the SYM is a nice touch. I have had a couple of rides back from London at 3 in the morning thus month. Now I no longer need to be up for work its great traveling at that time (empty roads). I find the SYMs lights to be very good, far better than on my Kawasaki.

Well i have to say the new glasses I recently got have made a big difference. last Thursday I left my friends in Hammersmith at 1.30 am. It was a lovely ride home, mild and no wind and almost no rain. I have never seen so many foxes in London one had to take care. The only fly in the ointment was that the A23 was closed after Gatwick and we were diverted across country to the A24. A big diversion which involved some twisty very dark country lanes with lots of wet leaves and creatures. I sat on 50 which I thought was ok but no, 2 yoboos in a 4x4 were not having it , they tailgated me, flashed, hooted and i got 2 fingers and lots of abuse however I am not easily intimidated and i know what they look like should I ever come across them again wearing my other hat

Sorry to read that (part) your ride was spoiled by idiots. Sometimes it's best just to let them past.

You even get it in cars, more often than not by drivers who don't really know how to drive properly so when a few empty roundabouts come up they disappear into the distance.
