Finally finished going over the trike, I've checked everything i can and the only thing that needs replacing right away is the front pads, so I'm off out to pick some up from my local dealer.
Oh and the hand brake needed adjusting lol

so you all set... have a ganders inside the master cylinders and see if the colour is clear, if not you could flush them out when you do the pads

Yeah the fluid is clear but i plan to flush it through with new when i replace the pads, i have to wait until Tuesday for them, already done the rear.
I plan hopefully to come up country and do more ride outs, i often ride to Sandy in Bedford to visit family.
Plan on fitting an extra brake light tomorrow.
Also I've ordered a new top box with a built in back rest for the wife, (browny points)

I plan to respray the top box in the colour of the bike.

So THAT's where I've been going wrong. All these years I've thought the right place for my wife was on the pillion. Never even thought about a topbox!

Does it have the BMW ABS? if so tis a bit of a fag to change the brake fluid as it ( the BMW abs not the other make they use, and i can't remember the name

) has to be done in the abs unit and the lines...check in a BMW workshop manual before you drain the fluid.

Hi Lyn, no it doesn't have ABS.
I finally fitted the klicktronic today, i really took my time as i was apprehensive of making a mistake

but all has gone swimmingly

and it works brilliantly, just need to replace the front pads tomorrow or the weekend.
I'm going to wait until the 1st of march to tax it because were half way through this month. So it shouldn't be long before I'm back on the road again.
