Point your missing is you may put people off posting videos or photos that the silent majority may enjoy watching even if rider is at fault but don't comment on .The site will then stagnate as it is now IMHO .

I agree, the constant moaning of the 'squeeky kleen clever arses' gets on your tits after a while.
The constant stream of self regarding idiots posting tedious videos blaming others for their own mistakes and shit riding is just as iritating.
but you dont have to watch them.
If Mr fish rode round as if he was taking an advanced riding test no one would comment , poss or negative, because it would be too boring, it has got to be a bit different to be entertaining. His riding attitude has a lot to be desired , and Im sure he knows that ( quote, 'Im not always like that'). His rush hour frustration has got the better of him and he's just expessing this in this funny video.

You ride like an unintelligent tosser with no understanding of how to share the road safely.
Hopefully when you have your big accident no-one else will be hurt.
+1 and the hand comments do not help.

The car was clearly indicating as you accelerate off the bend. The bus had stopped on the roundabout so going inside it you should have expected people turning left to pull out.

I did not find the video funny and youngsters watching this may think this is how to ride, it is how to get yourself in trouble. I do not bother showing my videos as they show me being boring and avoiding trouble like this. I only use it when people pull out and cause damage like 2 years ago.

... Constant stream? Not on this site.

If you are watching them else where then you clearly have an interest in it yet you say it is irritating? may be you should not watch them then?

OK, maybe not a constant stream, steady trickle might be more like it.
I only watch this type of video from links posted on this site.

I would say its more the occasional drip. From memory I can only think of 5-6 videos posted since mid October.

This is the way the social biking world is going and has been for years. If you want to criticize others riding in these video's, I have no issue with that, it can be done in a constructive and helpful manner. But if you are going to out right shit on someone it serves no purpose other than giving you a chance to posture.

I agree.
I shouldn't have used the term "unintelligent tosser", that was wrong of me.

Dont beat yourself up.
 you shouldnt be and yes the gopro with its excellent pics can over dramatise sometimes.
Like you i only watch clips posted here also.
But in such a small clip to put yourself in so many close shaves is unintelligent.
Mr Fish people in cars just dont see people on bikes and make mistakes. Blind spots, forget you are there etc etc
When riding a bike treat every one else on the road as a idiot and ride as if they cant see you
Your swearing was ok .
No offence but i am glad you were not driving that backhoe

Meldrew wrote:I looked at the clip and it's pretty much like those of all the other riders on YouTube that fancy themselves as online philosophers. When you're riding around giving your spiel and gesturing with your hands trying to be an entertaining online biking sage you're not really concentrating on riding 100% and you can see that in the clip. It's either that or every other road user in London and the South East and in that YouTube clip is an inconsiderate selfish twat.

You're also going to be pilloried on here by those that watch your clips, a long time member and prolific poster left here in the huff a few years ago because of comments made about his film clips, Solo is another that get's criticism about video clips he's posted.
Hey if you post stuff like this then you are going to get some flack.
I reckon he should change his name from Fish to The Cronicles of the Cat fish
They have 9 lives

'It's either that or every other road user in London and the South East and in that YouTube clip is an inconsiderate selfish twat.' - You should watch more videos on youtube that are South-East and London based and you'll find out how true that statement is
