As the years have rolled on i think most machines are either bitzers from all over the world or actually made in a foreign country under licence and often rebadged . My srv is mostly chinese parts ,but sold as italian lol .i must admit though the tai stuff imho is far better than the chinese stuff .

over the past few years ( well since i retired any way ) i have fixed a few Lexmoto, Daelim and a number of others ( skyteam ) all have been utter crap. One of these machines i put the saw through the remains of the three year old frame to stop the young lad riding it again.. I also have fixed Sym and Kymco and never had any real problems with them..and in most cases they were well put together.

I wonder if it is something to do with price point of bulk sales.
A standard "Euro regs" version would have kph and might be different batches to a US reg. version.
Euro version with US dial then becomes a special order so it is cheaper to take the standard Euro version?

NOPE! My brother's 2012 Tmax 530 out of Canada was KPH; had to change it to MPH to import to the US..
