Thanks Lyn, I might just do that, at the moment I have nothing in mind, I'm going to give Newtown a try, or Barmouth for a B&B.
What day are you looking at Earl's problem, I'm leaving Chatham Monday morning, and plan riding some of the 'Top Gear' roads, but also doing a bit of Springwatch.
The wife thinks I will be home by Wednesday evening!

Got the TMax back this morning and despite the very strong gusty winds I went for over a two hour long ride to get used to it again and to scrub in the brand new rear tyre as everywhere is dry around here today... this resulted in Chicken Stripless tyres

Having bought my 2004 Burger used, and poorly used at that, there were a lot of little bits to clean up. Today, I took a wire brush to a number of rusty spots and either painted or waterproofed as needed. Since I had 6,000 miles on the plug, I took off the plastic - easier than I thought - and changed it out. Looked good in terms of wear. Lean, though. I'll have to see about fattening up the mixture, if such can be done.
