A valve check on the Forza should be really quick and easy I would think. After which, if adjustment is needed you can easily work out the size of the shims needed and pick them up from your dealer.
Depends on the engine and where the shims are located.
Some engines the shims are above the bucket and can be removed with a special tool.
Most engines these days have the shims under the buckets and the Camshafts need removing to get at them

There were a couple of nc700's & an integra...I likee :)
Yeah I've seen comments in mags that they aren't designed for tall people. Tillstons in Stockton have one in, and they do look quite small. Maybe designed by Thai designers for the average Thai person!
Integra? Hmmm - they look quite nice but a scooter you can't step through, that has no luggage space and has chain drive still doesn't make any sense to me!
Yes I know Mr G, I just liked the look of it. I'm to practical minded really ...I'd miss the amout of junk I could throw in my trunk

News to me too.
The previous Forzas had a CVT with a fancy control unit.

The Forza has a single cam and it looks like forked rockers.
With any luck it will be quick and easy to get at the shims without having to disassemble the cam.

That's handy if it is. My Burgman, like most bike engines, has to have both the cams removed. It's easy but it's obviously more time consuming than being able to do it without removing the camshaft.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

Yeah...one of the things ditched in order to cut costs...along with being built in Thailand

Cutting costs is a good thing.
As is removing the nintendomatic gearbox.

No...I love superfluously complicated technology!

Me too, so long as it does something genuinely useful.
