I am on day 3 of my 50 miles each way daily commute, since taking possession of my K9 Burgman 400. The tall Givi screen and Tucano Urbano apron have been delivered today, I'll be fitting them over the weekend, hoping for a marked reduction in wind noise. 66mpg on 2 fills so far.

Got around to taking a look at my injured Stebel Magnum horn, I rather foolishly installed it behind a vent in the front panel above the radiator with the horn pointing forward. My thinking was to maximise the sound level, but I wasn't thinking about biblical proportions of rain experienced on a Muppet Pie'n'Mash run, so its been sounding rather strangled this week.
I tried the simple hairdryer drying attempt, but didn't seem to be doing much, so I had to remove the panel and soon found the problem, about half a cup of rainwater sloshing about in the horn, which being fixed slightly tilted couldn't drain away.
Anyway emptied dried and refitted with the horn angled away from the vent to avoid any further deluge, all fine and dandy once more.

Should of fitted a boat horn for that ride.

Have ridden for 350 miles today, in sun and rain.
Here is a pit stop after 100 miles with the wife.
50 miles later I dropped her off at her sister's, met up with the guys and continued.

Installed PunctureSeal, rode 4 miles to spread it about. Job done, i hope...
Also put in petrol and air.

The puncture seal and air would work without any petrol in your tyres
