europe is a bigger feeding ground for scoots.... so supply and demand different, dealers cant sit on stock doing nothing, and anything new is harder to judge for our little isleGlobs wrote:This is the story I had from MotoGB 2 years ago when I phoned up (and eventually got through) to source my GTS300.spaceprobe wrote:Ok before I replied I have just called the dealer.

sadly Motogb seems to be struggling to meet demand.

The dealer also said they were having trouble getting the abs version of the kawasaki. Kawasaki were pushing them to take the non abs version but they were reluctant because they did not want to get stuck with them.

Yes I can understand that. Kawasaki really dropped the ball on that one, fancy launching a big new scooter in 2013/2014 without ABS - schoolboy error.spaceprobe wrote:The dealer also said they were having trouble getting the abs version of the kawasaki. I do like their colour scheme though.

Re: 600 on its way
Just came across this French review and comparison with the Kymco 700. Interestingly they say the performance is the same, with the SYM being better equipped and €400 cheaper. Wonder if the big kymco will come to the UK, if big scooters are starting to take off.
