Re: 12th of Feb Stuarts stone setting service
Stuarts family asked me to pass on their thanks to all those who turned up and also to all who could not make it, His sister said it was a wonderful gesture to see all the bikes there in honour of Stuart
So thanks to you all .

yep, a good day, but also a sad day, six of the ugly bunch turned up, which I thought was a good turn out considering the weather. Not too far for me colin and earl, but liam, steve and alan, covered a good few miles to attend, which was a great gesture to show respect for a top gent.

The ride was a bit boring, going A38 A50 M6. But definitely safer avoiding the Peaks.
I'm glad I went though. Stuarts family were great. His widow Denise and the daughters took the time to welcome us. As did other members of the family.
Must have been hard for Ian to say his bit but it shows what great friends they were.
We did the apologies for the other uglies, which were warmly received.
All in all,, a good turnout for a good bloke!
And of course , it was good for the Ugly Bunch to ride again!
