I have to apologise, I misunderstood. I thought this forum was full of decent lads after meeting a few of you at the memorial arboretum..... But I can see that there is the usual amount of internet warriors on here, feel free to come and introduce yourselves one day, I doubt very much you'd have the same level of bravado or even consider calling me a wanker to my face.. I am one though, I'll go back to the other bike forum I use, as there arent so many pricks on there.

Thanks for the sentiment. I do my best to be civil but I accept that sometimes my writing may come across as harsh or unsympathetic if I am in a rush. But I do not mean harm (I save that for real bad guys.)

But one thing I never do is act big from behind the keyboard. I call it as I see it, and express an opinion only if I can base it on personal experience or what seems to me to be a fair report. At least that is what I aim to do.

By the way, none of the comments quoted about the Sat were by me. Gratifying at least though to see that someone feels their life was saved by a feature of the Sat which is not available on so many other scooters. Even if the writer also felt that some of the plastics are a bit low rent.

My own thread in the review section should have provided ample ammunition though as it is a warts n' all record of 3 years and 30k miles with the bike.

That isn't correct. Someone saying "I don't give a f..k" , isn't the same as giving someone personal abuse like you have, Barry.

I also think Stephen is intelligent enough to argue his own case.

In fact there seems to be a lot of abuse aimed at anyone who prefers to ride a Tmax or even dare to consider buying a BMW scooter.

Loadsamoney tosspot, I remember in one thread? Not sure which expensive machine that was to do with.

I never criticise anyones form of transport. I don't like motorbikes and would never ride one but don't insult people who do unless they give me grief. Which I still get occasionally!
In fact,I don't like many other scooters, other than the Tmax. Maybe Vespas? But each to his own!
If I had the money though,, I'd be tempted to buy both the BMW and a new Mk4 Tmax and would revel in replying to all insults!

It was "loadsamoneyed tossers" and it was me.
If that gave offence to anyone then I apologise unreservedly for hurting their feelings.
But I stand by my opinion which is that the the new BMW TGS range are overpriced and it would be foolish to buy them when there are much better value options to be had.
