My cunning plan was to use the Hawes ride out as a starting point for lots of Muppet rides. Because its fairly central for most in the North it seemed ideal. I know theres a few members on the East coast side so what about a ride out to Scarborough. Whitby should be a definite destination for the NE Lads and us from the West Yorks area. Send me a message when your free on a Sunday and lets meet up. Gerard
My next Sunday off is 20th May. Will let you know closer to the date.
Cheers.

This is looking good. Lets hope the weather is kind. Just to point out I don't know the area so the suggestions all seem good to me. Its what we feel like doing on the day. Apparently theres a lot of circular fairly short routes that would allow those that want to drop out and head home the chance to do so.

I assumed my invitation to the meet would be withdrawn. I went to Hawes on Sunday a really good ride, Plenty of bikers but not one scooter(except mine) was there. From there i went to Glasson Dock another of my regular visits, again i was the only scooter rider there. On Saturday I was in Southport a bit overcast but i enjoyed it, need i say i was the only scooter rider. :)

Proposed meeting up at the Penny Garth Cafe, Market Place, Hawes DL8 3RD. I think 11.00 should do it to gather up. Its conveniently situated on the A684. Well according to their Website http://www.pennygarthcafe.co.uk anyway.

I am setting off from Junction 39 M1 at 9.15. If anybody from South / West Yorks wants to ride up together.

Thats about it. Showers won't cancel it but if its forecast to p*ss it down all day it will.

If anyone else can suggest a better meeting place or time or anything come forward and say now please. This is my first effort so help appreciated.

I am riding a Grey Burgman 650 with a Top box. Unless its crap in which case I'm on the blue Vespa!
