I did have a few crashes but no face scrapes so was lucky really. Always a full face from about 1986.
I did try on an open face at a bike show a few years ago but it didn't feel right. Like wearing a cap.

That's why I'm keeping it quiet about the $120 million I spent yesterday. Being a chocoholic I'm disappointed not to get 10 large container loads of "Munchies cream" that I thought I was buying!
I think it was a kangol colt that the lining and protective polystyreme layer dropped out of when I took it off. I didn't keep it long after that.

The coppers round here generally wear Shoei but the ones that don't (presumably with non-Shoei shaped heads) wear Justissimos....usually with the front flipped up around town. :)

The motorcycle police i see are usually in the Flip Shoei Synchs, Sherberts or Beamer System Lids, or Non Flip Arais... i think they get a reasonable allowance, or can add to it - and are probably fairly well paid, have a fulll licence, own their own bike and quality lid, and have been riding a while... The tricycle riding PCSOs usually have the issued Cabergs, and the majority are probably riding a three wheeler on the car licence loop-hole, and don't actually own their own bike

no darling, I want chrome, that way the sun will reflect of the helmet and blind every car driver for miles around[/quote]

Perhaps some one can invent a helmet-mounted laser beam so that we can achieve the same effect in cloudy weather????
