check this out
so I should admit to cheating - but only a little bit.
now don't spend the rest of the evening hooked on re-runs on youtube then getting a tounge lashing from the wife for not paying her attention

Re: Honda, not quite a maxi but I want one
I always thought (but am prepared to bow to superior knowledge) Gerry A's first was The Adventures of Twizzle followed by Torchy the Battery Boy.SpikeOne wrote:The Monkey in XL5 was Zoonie, but he was an alien!
OK, who remembers "Four Feather Falls" then - no-one I've ever met has ever heard of him.
He was the second from the Andersons, and he was a cowboy with magic guns that used to shoot forwards when he raised his hands.
A bit useful that, if you're being held up!
And the first? I'm willing to bet no-one, (even here!), remembers the first from the Andersons - "Space City", (Gamma rays on!)...
Space City IIRC, was the Head Quarters of the World Space Patrol in Fireball XL5. Space Patrol was another puppet show of the period but not by Gerry Anderson's team.

Ooo I'd forgotten about Torchy, and have never heard of most of the later ones.
As for Dick Spanner - where can I get one?
